You'll own the full sales cycle — from identifying and prospecting high-value targets to closing enterprise deals that set the foundation for long-term customer relationships. <br><br>This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for a hunter who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, and winning new business in markets where Motorq is still establishing its presence.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li><p>Aggressively prospect and penetrate target enterprise accounts across new sectors, driving top-of-funnel activity through outbound outreach, networking, and industry events.</p></li><li><p>Own and exceed a net-new revenue quota, closing high-value deals with fleet operators, lenders, rental companies, and other strategic customers.</p></li><li><p>Develop tailored account strategies for each target — mapping stakeholders, uncovering business pain, and positioning Motorq as the must-have solution.</p></li><li><p>Run the full enterprise sales cycle, from first contact and executive alignment to complex negotiation and contract execution.</p></li><li><p>Partner with Customer Success and Engineering to ensure smooth handoffs and set new customers up for lasting ROI.</p></li><li><p>Leverage competitive intelligence and market insights to differentiate Motorq in highly competitive situations.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a high-value pipeline with CRM discipline — forecasting accurately and following up relentlessly on open opportunities.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><ul><li><p>A hunter by nature — you thrive on building relationships from scratch and opening new doors at the executive level.</p></li><li><p>High-energy and self-motivated — you bring relentless drive to every deal, every week, and you treat your territory like a business you own. Energy is not just a trait; it is how you show up every day.</p></li><li><p>Self-driven and accountable — you own your number without being managed, stay organized across multiple active pursuits, and never let a deal go cold for lack of follow-through.</p></li><li><p>Curious and consultative — you invest time understanding a customer's business before jumping to a pitch.</p></li><li><p>Creative and resourceful — you find ways to move deals forward even when the path isn't obvious.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable with complexity — you can navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles without losing momentum.</p></li><li><p>Collaborative — you know how to loop in the right internal partners (CS, Engineering, Leadership) to win.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of full-cycle enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas through net-new customer acquisition.</p></li><li><p>SaaS sales expertise, ideally selling complex, high-value solutions to enterprise clients.</p></li><li><p>Experience in fleet management, mobility, automotive, logistics, or adjacent industries is a strong plus.</p></li><li><p>Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>CRM discipline (Salesforce or equivalent) and strong forecasting habits.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and the SF Bay Area for quarterly team meetings.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Logistics</strong></p><ul><li><p>Full-time role, remote-first.</p></li><li><p>Hybrid if based in the SF Bay Area.</p></li><li><p>Priority locations: Texas, Midwest, Atlanta, and Northeast US.</p></li><li><p>Travel approximately 6–10 business days per month, including quarterly visits to the SF Bay Area.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><p>Base salary: $125,000–$175,000 per year. </p></li><li><p>On-target earnings (OTE): $250,000–$350,000 — uncapped. Top performers earn above range. </p></li><li><p>Equity participation. </p></li><li><p>Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave. </p></li></ul>
