Assist baggage handling operation, unloading baggage carts into the conveyor belt.
Handle all aspects of baggage service, assisting Ramp Service Agents to ensure that bags are timely transferred/carried to the appropriate belt upon arrival of the flights.
Oversee that the conveyor belt is always operational and running with no issues.
Qualifications
On-Call must be available any given day, from 6:30am - 3:30pm with 1 hour break.
Full-time must have the flexibility to work 5 days/6 hours daily, mornings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Must be able to lift/carry / push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis. And must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
Must be able to work outside in the inclement weather including during the winter cold and summer hot months.
Must be at least 18 years of age; And, must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
