<p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Job Description</b></u></p>Terminal Degree - Education<p>Eligible candidates must have a terminal degree in education and an administrator certification in Kentucky.</p><p>Preference will be given to candidates with experience as DPP, SI, or superintendent.</p><p>Remote candidates will be considered for the position.</p><p>•Faculty are responsible for developing lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities to successfully deliver course content in their academic unit.<br>•Faculty will teach coursework in various specialties.<br>•Maintain regular office hours for advising students.<br>•Participate in events and initiatives aimed at meeting departmental and divisional recruitment and retention goals.<br>•Accept assignments on committees, sponsor student activities, and actively participate in University life.<br>•Support the institution’s Christian mission, including attendance a chapel services, scheduled or called meetings, commencement programs, and Faculty Forum meetings.<br>•Provide a Christian role model for students.<br>•Maintain a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and shares it with students and scholars.<br>•Promote the discipline on and off campus and attracts students to the field.<br>•Maintain contact with alumni and the community.<br>•Participate in academic unit meetings and cooperates with other members of the Faculty.<br>•Identify with professional organizations and professionals of the discipline at all educational levels.<br>•Assist in recruiting new Faculty members within the academic unit.<br>•Assist the Dean in the preparation of class schedules and material for the University Bulletin Catalog.<br>•Know the Library holdings and deficiencies and plans improvements based on budget allocations.<br>•Assist in developing syllabi for courses in the discipline.<br>•Assist in the preparation of requests for foundation grants.<br>•Assist students by continually monitoring and evaluating students’ progress and making appropriate referrals to academic and personal support services, as necessary, to meet student needs.<br>•Demonstrate excellence in teaching.<br> </p>
