Our client is seeking a highly experienced and certified Aviation Safety Inspector to join their globally recognized aviation authority. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to apply your extensive knowledge and expertise from anywhere in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with stringent aviation safety regulations, conducting thorough inspections, and contributing to the overall safety and integrity of the aviation sector. Key responsibilities include performing detailed safety inspections of aircraft, maintenance facilities, and operational procedures to identify and mitigate risks. This role requires a deep understanding of federal aviation regulations (FARs), airworthiness directives, and safety management systems. The Aviation Safety Inspector will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety, aircraft maintenance, or a related field is essential, along with relevant certifications (e.g., FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, inspector authorization). Proven expertise in aviation regulations, safety auditing, and risk management is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, investigative, and communication skills are mandatory. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and conduct thorough assessments in a remote capacity is crucial.
