<p>The <span style="font-weight: bold">Brand Manager</span> is a vital leader in shaping the strategy, positioning, and success of assigned brands. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business goals to grow revenue, profitability, and market share. The Brand Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to bring products to market, create impactful consumer and trade marketing programs, and optimize brand performance across various channels.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Key Responsibilities:</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Strategic Brand Leadership -</span><br></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Define Brand Strategy</span>: Develop and implement a long-term vision and roadmap for the brand, aligning it with PANOS’ overall business objectives.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Portfolio Management</span>: Make decisions about the brand portfolio (e.g., expanding, consolidating, or retiring products).</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Competitive Positioning</span>: Assess and refine the brand's market positioning relative to competitors to ensure sustained growth and differentiation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Financial and P&L Management -</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">P&L Ownership: </span>Maintain accountability for the brand’s profit and loss (P&L), balancing revenue growth with cost control.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Budget Management: </span>Allocate marketing budgets and partner with Sales to ensure effective use of trade spending to maximize ROI.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Pricing Strategy: </span>Lead pricing decisions, considering market dynamics, costs, and consumer willingness to pay.</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Operational Excellence -</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Data Analysis & Insights:</span> Utilize data tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) to analyze sales trends, market share, and promotional effectiveness.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Demand Planning: </span>Partner with Operations team to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Process Improvement: </span>Identify and implement efficiencies across business processes impacting the brand.</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Sales Strategy -</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Partner Collaboration:</span> Collaborate with PANOS Sales team and broker partners to align on brand objectives, distribution priorities, and promotional strategies.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Drive Distribution: </span>Guide Sales team on brand assortment priorities and customer targets to deliver expansion goals.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Build Effective Selling Stories:</span> Utilize key brand messaging, consumer insights, and market data to build effective selling stories to secure buy-in for new distribution or offerings.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Trade Promotion Effectiveness:</span> Evaluate trade promotions, adjust strategies based on data, and ensure effective return on trade investment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Product Management & Innovation -</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Concept Development:</span> Identify consumer needs, analyze market trends, and collaborate with R&D to create products that align with brand strategy.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Product Development:</span> Plan and execute product launches, coordinating with R&D, Sales, and Operations teams.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Continuous Improvement: </span>Leverage consumer insights and market data to refine products and maintain high standards in design, functionality, and appeal.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Marketing Leadership -</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Integrated Marketing Planning:</span> Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns that support broader business goals.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: bold">Consumer Marketing Activation:</span> Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and social media;
