Our team is expanding! We are looking for another community manager to join our team!

Here are the details of the position:

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role with room for growth into a full-time role for a Community Manager for our entrepreneurship community, the School of Mentors (5,500+ members). You will play a vital role in creating a supportive, engaging environment for our members, helping them stay connected, inspired, and accountable.

Responsibilities include

Welcoming and onboarding new members into the community

Hosting and moderating live Zoom calls (networking, Q&A, accountability, etc.)

Sparking engagement by posting thought-provoking questions, conversation starters, or relevant content

Managing and responding to member questions, requests, or concerns

Collaborating with the internal team to ensure updates, events, and announcements are shared effectively

Monitoring and helping improve member retention and satisfaction

Supporting coaches and leadership with backend organization and logistics when needed

We have clear systems, SOPs, and templates in place - we just need someone consistent, personable, and community-obsessed to bring them to life.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you’re confident on Zoom and in written posts

Passion for entrepreneurship, personal growth, and community-building

Must be U.S. based

Ability to manage, organize, and engage across digital platforms (we use Skool for both communities)

Highly responsive, dependable, and proactive in identifying where support is needed

Comfortable leading small groups and facilitating online events or discussions

Experience working remotely and independently with strong self-discipline

Coachable and open to feedback - we want you to grow with us

Preferable Qualifications

Experience managing online communities or coaching groups

Background in customer support, events, education, or personal development

Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Skool, Google Suite, Slack

Creative thinking and willingness to test new ideas for member engagement

Expectations

20 hours/week to start, with potential for growth

Available during peak call hours (preferably between 12pm–8pm CST)

Fast and responsive communication with the internal team and members A working computer and stable internet connection are required
