Project values generally range from $1.5M to $4M+ and require careful planning, accurate estimating, and strong coordination between consultants and trades.<br><br>As our project pipeline continues to grow, we are seeking a highly capable Construction Administrator to join our team.<br><br>This role will be a long-term full-time position integrated into our internal team.<br><br><br><b>What You'll Do:</b><b><br></b><b>You'll be the kind of person who:</b><br><br><b>Contract Administration</b><br> <ul> <li>Assist in preparing and managing construction contracts and subcontract agreements<br></li> <li>Maintain accurate project documentation and contract records<br></li> <li>Review subcontractor scopes of work and documentation<br></li> <li>Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project documentation<br></li> </ul><br><b>Procurement & Trade Coordination</b><br> <ul> <li>Assist with issuing trade packages and procurement documentation<br></li> <li>Manage subcontractor documentation including insurances and compliance records<br></li> <li>Assist in comparing subcontractor quotes and preparing tender comparisons<br></li> <li>Support trade procurement and appointment processes<br></li> </ul><br><b>Variations & Cost Tracking</b><br> <ul> <li>Assist with pricing and preparing client variations<br></li> <li>Maintain variation registers for each project<br></li> <li>Track project costs against approved budgets<br></li> <li>Assist in preparing financial reports for project performance<br></li> </ul><br><b>Progress Claims & Payments</b><br> <ul> <li>Assist with the preparation of progress claims to clients<br></li> <li>Review subcontractor invoices and claims for payment<br></li> <li>Assist in verifying work completed against subcontractor claims<br></li> <li>Maintain payment tracking and documentation<br></li> </ul><br><b>Project Administration</b><br> <ul> <li>Maintain organised project files and documentation<br></li> <li>Coordinate documentation between consultants, trades, and the project team<br></li> <li>Assist with issuing site instructions and project communications<br></li> <li>Support site supervisors and project managers with administrative requirements<br></li> </ul><br><br> <h3>Requirements</h3><b>What You Bring:<br></b>We're looking for someone who:<br><br><b>Software Experience </b><b><br></b><br>The ideal candidate will have experience using construction management software and project administration systems.<br><br><b>Preferred experience includes:</b><br> <ul> <li>Procore (highly desirable)<br></li> <li>Buildertrend<br></li> <li>Buildxact<br></li> <li>Aconex or similar document management systems<br></li> <li>Microsoft Excel<br></li> <li>Microsoft Office Suite<br><br></li> </ul>Experience with Procore would be ideal;
