As we continue to expand our footprint in the Houston region, we are seeking a dependable and hands-on Construction Foreman to lead field operations and supervise site crews across our commercial projects. Position SummaryThe Construction Foreman will serve as the primary on-site supervisor leading day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects in the Houston area. This role bridges field execution and project leadership, overseeing site crews, trade subcontractors, and equipment operations across new construction, commercial renovations, hotel fit-outs, and heavy civil work.The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical know-how, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and quality standards. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Direct, coordinate, and supervise daily on-site activities of trade crews, subcontractors, and laborers.</li><li>Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, site rules, and daily PPE compliance.</li><li>Interpret project blueprints, submittals, and specifications to assign precise daily tasks to field staff.</li><li>Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to execute project schedules and daily production goals.</li><li>Conduct daily safety briefings (toolbox talks), job site inspections, and quality control checks.</li><li>Manage job site logistics, including tracking material deliveries, staging equipment, and tool inventory.</li><li>Identify on-site conflicts, schedule bottlenecks, or plan discrepancies and escalate/resolve them quickly.</li><li>Log and report daily site progress, crew attendance, field hours, and material usage to management.</li><li>Train and mentor field crews and junior workers to maintain work quality and operational efficiency.</li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for field safety incidents, quality inspections, and vendor deliveries on-site.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school certification required.</li><li>Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on commercial construction experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman capacity.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of commercial building methods, structural systems, and field staging practices.</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, architectural drawings, and blueprints.</li><li>Active OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.</li><li>Strong leadership, site communication, and conflict-resolution skills.</li><li>Basic proficiency with digital site reporting tools or mobile job site applications (e.g., Procore, Fieldwire) is a plus.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to navigate job sites across the Houston region.</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Ability to work in outdoor conditions and perform physical tasks typical of a commercial active construction site.</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.</li><li>Flexibility to work early mornings, overtime, or occasional weekends as dictated by project schedules.</li></ul>Perks & Benefits<ul><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Performance-based bonus opportunities</li><li>Health insurance benefits</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays</li><li>Strong company culture focused on team development, field safety, and growth</li></ul>Industry<ul><li>Construction</li></ul>
