<p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Job Summary:</b></u></p>We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to own the finance function end-to-end. You will be responsible for the integrity of our financial reporting, our internal controls, and the financial insight that drives decision-making across the organization. Experience in a software or SaaS environment is a strong advantage — revenue recognition, contract accounting, and accurate forecasting are central to how we operate.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><p><b>Reports to:</b> General Manager</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Financial Reporting & Close</b></p><ul><li><p>Full ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including preparation of accurate and complete financial statements in accordance with company policy.</p></li><li><p>Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining strong working capital discipline including cash flow monitoring and management.</p></li><li><p>Design and maintain management reporting that gives leadership clear, timely, and actionable visibility into business performance.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and continuously improve the internal control environment, keeping all documentation, policies, and procedures current as the business evolves.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Operational Finance</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead revenue analysis, P&L monitoring, pricing analysis, and performance tracking.</p></li><li><p>Drive the annual planning and forecasting cycle, partnering closely with the General Manager to set and track progress against the company's goals and objectives.</p></li><li><p>Provide the senior leadership team with the financial context they need to make sound strategic and operational decisions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Process & Continuous Improvement</b></p><ul><li><p>Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes and take ownership of improving them — from idea through implementation.</p></li><li><p>Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as directed by the General Manager.</p></li><li><p>Travel up to 10% for business meetings and reviews (may be higher for remote-based candidates). Valid passport required.</p></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience; prior experience owning a finance function is strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>CPA or CA designation required.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.</p></li><li><p>Experience in a software, SaaS, or technology company with exposure to project/contract accounting and subscription revenue recognition is a strong asset.</p></li><li><p>Solid working knowledge of IFRS is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Highly proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel and PowerPoint.</p></li><li><p>Clear, confident communicator who can translate financial complexity for non-finance audiences at all levels of the organization.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p>Base salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually</p><p></p><p>Other compensation: This role includes eligibility for our annual bonus plan, tied to the business's performance  — a meaningful incentive that reflects our commitment to rewarding long-term performance.</p><p></p><p>* Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons</p><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Worker Type:</b></u></p>Regular<p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:left"><b><u>Number of Openings Available:</u>    </b></p>1
