Act as the subject matter expert on product privacy, staying current on all relevant laws and regulations. Provide legal guidance and support to cross-functional teams on product development, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations. Review and advise on the privacy implications of new products and features. Draft and negotiate privacy-related agreements, such as data sharing or processing agreements. Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk assessments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and data privacy officers, to identify and address potential privacy risks. Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures. Ensure that product privacy practices align with company values and customer expectations. Monitor and track changes in privacy laws and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant teams. Train employees on privacy best practices and compliance requirements. Handle any privacy-related inquiries or complaints from customers. Represent the company in privacy-related legal proceedings. Continuously evaluate and improve the company's privacy program. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
