Apply today and help us shape the future of work—together </div>Job Title: Database Administrator (Oracle & PostgreSQL) Experience: 6+ Years Location: Remote-India Job Summary Job Description – Database Administrator (Multi-Platform) We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong multi-platform expertise across Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both on-premises and cloud environments, along with strong skills in performance tuning, high availability, backup/recovery, and replication technologies. Key Responsibilities: Oracle Database Administration <ul> <li>Manage and administer Oracle Databases in on-prem and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.</li> <li>Perform performance tuning, diagnostics, and workload optimization.</li> <li>Manage backup and recovery operations using RMAN.</li> <li>Configure, monitor, and maintain Data Guard for disaster recovery.</li> <li>Support Oracle replication solutions such as: </li> <ul> <li>Oracle GoldenGate</li> <li>HVR Replication</li> </ul> </ul> SQL Server Administration <ul> <li>Administer SQL Server in on-premises and Azure SQL environments.</li> <li>Implement and maintain high availability solutions (AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Clustering).</li> <li>Manage security, patching, and performance tuning.</li> <li>Design and maintain backup and recovery strategies.</li> </ul> Snowflake Administration <ul> <li>Manage user and role provisioning, access control, and security configurations.</li> <li>Perform query performance tuning and warehouse optimization.</li> <li>Handle data loading/unloading, ETL integrations, and external stage management.</li> </ul> PostgreSQL Administration <ul> <li>Install, configure, upgrade, and manage PostgreSQL databases.</li> <li>Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and configuration tuning.</li> <li>Define and implement backup and restore strategies.</li> </ul> MongoDB Administration <ul> <li>Install, configure, and manage MongoDB in on-premises and cloud environments.</li> <li>Monitor performance, tune queries, and optimize database configurations.</li> <li>Implement and manage security, including authentication, authorization, and role-based access.</li> </ul> Required Skills <ul> <li>Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills across multiple database platforms.</li> <li>Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems.</li> <li>Ability to work in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Strong communication and documentation skills.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Certifications in Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, MongoDB, OCI, or Azure are an advantage.</li> </ul> Mode of work: Remote Shift: Rotational Shifts 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated resumes to: <a href="mailto:srikanth.kunchala@neweratech.com">srikanth.kunchala@neweratech.com</a> <div class="content-conclusion">New Era Technology, LLC., and its subsidiaries (“New Era” “we”, “us”, or “our”) in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
