Auto ImportRole Overview The Deputy CFO is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving Group-wide financial performance, corporate strategy, and investor confidence across Sedania’s diversified portfolio — including FMCG, Fintech , and Technology & Energy Solutions.
This role goes beyond traditional finance, requiring a leader who can integrate financial insights with business strategy, navigate multiple business models, and act as a trusted advisor to the Management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Group Financial Strategy & Corporate Analysis- Lead Group financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Drive corporate-level analysis across all business pillars (FMCG, Fintech, Technology)
- Provide strategic insights on profitability, cost optimisation, and capital allocation
- Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A, and new ventures
- Act as a key finance partner to ED & MD, supporting Group-level decision making
- Work across
- FMCG (Offspring, Tanamera, FA Herbs)
- Fintech (Sedania As-Salam Capital)
- Technology & Energy Solutions (Sedania Technologies)
- Support expansion, pricing strategies, and commercial decisions
- Apply entrepreneurial thinking in balancing growth, risk, and sustainability
- Lead Group Investor Relations (IR):
- Investor presentations & earnings communication
- Analyst engagement & stakeholder management
- Bursa announcements (with Company Secretary)
- Translate financial performance into clear, compelling narratives
- Support fundraising, capital strategy, and corporate exercises
- Oversee financial performance across:
- FMCG: margins, COGS, trade & channel profitability
- Fintech: transaction-based revenue, portfolio performance, funding structures
- Technology/Energy: project costing, ROI, and investment tracking
- Ensure strong financial discipline across different business models
- Ensure compliance with Bursa, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen Group financial controls and risk management frameworks
- Support Board, Audit Committee, and governance reporting
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent) — preferred
- 10–15 years in senior finance leadership roles
- Experience in diversified group / multi-business environment
- Exposure to public-listed company & Investor Relations
- FMCG experience is an advantage, with ability to operate across industries
- Strong communication & ability to engage Board & investors
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capability
- Strong stakeholder management & influence
- A future CFO with Group-level exposure
- Comfortable working directly with ED & MD
- Strong balance of strategy, finance, and investor engagement
- Able to drive impact across growth, governance, and capital strategy
