We’re building the AI Growth Engine that powers the next generation of consumer brands.With over $1B+ in cumulative revenue, 12M+ customers, and 500+ talents across 19 countries, we combine technology, growth marketing, and operational excellence to scale purpose-driven, digitally native brands.We own and operate our own digitally native brands (not an agency), with presence in Walmart, Nordstrom, and Amazon, and a strong global D2C footprint.<h4>Why Trafilea</h4>We’re a tech-led eCommerce group scaling our own globally loved DTC brands, while helping ambitious talent grow just as fast.🚀 We build and scale our own brands.🦾 We invest in AI and automation like few others in eCom.📈 We test fast, grow fast, and help you do the same.🤝 Be part of a dynamic, diverse, and talented global team.🌍 100% Remote, USD competitive salary, paid time off, and more. <h4>Job Responsibilities</h4>At Trafilea, you won’t just manage infrastructure—you’ll architect and scale the systems behind a $1B+ global e-commerce platform, processing billions of data points and powering high-growth consumer brands.We’re looking for a DevOps (Cloud Engineer) Lead to own our cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and DevOps/DataOps strategy end-to-end.<h3></h3><ul><li>Architect and scale AWS infrastructure (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, ECS)</li><li>Lead Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Terragrunt</li><li>Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for high-velocity deployments</li><li>Design and evolve ETL pipelines and data platform architecture</li><li>Drive containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li>Establish observability: monitoring, logging, alerting</li><li>Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficient cloud operations</li><li>Lead incident management and improve system reliability</li><li>Define DevOps/DataOps standards across teams</li><li>Mentor engineers and elevate technical excellence</li></ul> <ul><li>7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a Lead or Senior role</li><li>Proven track record designing and scaling AWS infrastructure in high-traffic, production environments</li><li>Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) in complex, multi-environment setups</li><li>Deep experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments</li><li>Hands-on experience with data architecture and ETL pipelines at scale</li><li>Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)</li><li>Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments</li><li>Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and reliability engineering principles</li><li>Experience leading architecture decisions, incident management, and system reliability improvements</li><li>Proven ability to mentor engineers and raise the bar of DevOps/DataOps practices across teams</li></ul>Nice to have:<ul><li>Experience with modern data stack (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake)</li><li>Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)</li><li>Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies</li><li>Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or AI-assisted development tools</li></ul>
