Humanoids means working on mission-driven engineering challenges with real-world impact.Role Description Engineering positions at Minerva Humanoids are full-time, on-site roles based in San Francisco, CA. Team members collaborate to design, develop, and refine mechanical and manufacturing systems for humanoid robots and related components. Day-to-day responsibilities may include creating and reviewing engineering drawings, running simulations, supporting prototyping and assembly, and performing testing and validation of hardware.
Engineers work closely with cross-functional teams to manage timelines, track progress, and resolve technical issues. These roles also involve documenting designs and processes, communicating status updates, and contributing to continuous improvement of products and workflows.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering skills, including design, analysis, and familiarity with CAD tools.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing Engineering skills, such as understanding production processes, tooling, and design for manufacturability.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Project Management skills to collaborate across teams and drive projects to completion.
- Relevant experience in robotics, electromechanical systems, or hardware product development is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA, in a hands-on environment and comply with applicable safety practices.
