Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Frontend Software Engineer to help design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications. This role will focus on building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces while collaborating with designers, backend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in modern frontend development and enjoys solving technical problems. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career engineer with academic projects, internships, personal projects, or professional experience in web development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web application interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable frontend code.
- Build web components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Work with React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frontend technologies.
- Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into functional interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and application services.
- Implement responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues.
- Perform cross-browser and device testing.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests for frontend applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
- Use Git and version-control workflows to manage source code.
- Improve website performance, accessibility, and usability.
- Assist with frontend application releases and deployments.
- Document technical solutions, implementation details, and development processes.
- Monitor and improve application quality based on user feedback and technical requirements.
- Stay current with modern frontend development practices and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous frontend development experience, internships, academic projects, or personal projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail and code quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working with Figma or similar design tools.
- Portfolio, GitHub repository, or personal projects demonstrating frontend development skills.
