Game and Software Development Tester (Alpha, Beta & UAT)

About the role

We are seeking Game and Software Development Tester to join our talented team at Tech Up. This is a part-time role where you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our game and software applications across the development lifecycle, from Alpha and Beta testing to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

What you'll be doing

1. Executing a wide range of test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of our game and software products
2. Collaborating with the development team to identify, document, and track software defects and issues
3. Providing detailed feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and user experience of our applications
4. Participating in the planning and design of test strategies, scripts, and environments
5. Automating repetitive test cases to enhance the efficiency of the testing process
6. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in game and/or software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
2. Proficient in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot complex issues
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate test findings
5. Experience in working with Agile development processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams
6. Knowledge of game development principles and software engineering best practices
