<p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description</b></p>The Learning and Development Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to educate our employees, customers, and school partners on the Stride/K12 products, academic programming, and other services, including interactive workshops, product support assets, and improving online training modules.<p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Design and develop engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids, to support the learning needs of employees, customers, and partners.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Conduct virtual and/or on-site training sessions for various audiences, including teachers, administrators, existing employees, customers, and partners, to ensure they have a deep understanding of our products (features, functionalities, pedagogy, etc.) as well as the K12 academic framework and other services.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights needed to create effective training content and training course content.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Continuously assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Stay up-to-date on product updates, enhancements, and industry trends to ensure training content remains current and relevant.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Provide ongoing support and guidance to all stakeholders by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and addressing training-related inquiries.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to promote adoption and usage of our products and services.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Assist in the development and implementation of instructor and leadership programs.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Maintain training documentation, records, and materials in an organized and accessible manner.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Supports initiatives to increase engagement with products and platforms, such as designing and facilitating new user trainings.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Attends all meetings pertaining to product and platform functionality and/or enhancements and assists in cross-training internal team members.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Continues to learn about new and enhanced Stride products and platforms to become proficient and incorporates updates and enhancements of products into skill set.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Contribute in the development and implementation of the overall Talent Development roadmap and strategy.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· And other duties as assigned.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Supervisory Responsibilities:</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience in talent development, educational training or related position</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Understanding of effective training methodologies and a true passion for working with adult learners</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Microsoft Office 365; Web proficiency.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Ability to clear required background check</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Certificates and Licenses: List OR None required.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Bachelor’s degree in education or similar field of study</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Professional Training Certification</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Instructional Design Certification</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">· Design tools, such as Canva</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
