As a Middle Market Solution Consultant, you will report directly to the Solution Consultant Sales Leader. </span><br><br><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">A Middle Market Solution Consultant at Consumer Benefit Solutions, works closely with Sales, Operations and Aon’s Health Solutions and Risk Solutions to develop, manage and analyze our market, client and enrollment data to drive better outcomes.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">This is a virtual role that can be worked anywhere in the Continental United States. </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What the day will look like</strong></span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">The Middle Market Solution Consultant is responsible for Aon Consumer Benefit Solutions using expertise in product consulting and knowledge on how those products fit on various industry platforms for prospective clients during the sales process as well as existing clients during renewal discussions. The primary focus of the Middle Market Solution consultant is to communicate product suite and enrollment value propositions externally to prospective clients. The Middle Market Solution Consultant is responsible for assisting with the sales process from prospect stage through the hand-off to the Health Solutions Team and signed contract. In addition, the Middle Market Solution Consultant is responsible for coordinating Voluntary Benefits Carrier and Product evaluation. As a key sales stakeholder, they will also collaborate with the Middle Market Lead Sales Consultants on recommendations and enhancements to help us achieve excellence in sales delivery.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Manage multiple projects concurrently</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Maintains subject matter expertise on Voluntary Benefit products and Voluntary Benefit carriers</span></li></ul><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Maintains expertise in proprietary and 3<sup>rd</sup> party Benefits Administration systems</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Articulates and communicates value proposition and key differentiators</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Develops a high level working knowledge of other practice area solutions</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborates with Sales Leaders to communicate market knowledge and sales process and to keep abreast of operations</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Partners with practice consulting arm to strengthen integration</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Educates Sales Consultants on specific strategies, solutions, and industry changes</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Maintains Request for Proposal (RFP) Content</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Partners with internal partners for Request for Proposal (RFP) requests to ensure a streamlined and efficient process</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Sales Process and Meetings </strong></span></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Assists Sales Leaders in the development of prospect sales strategy</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Responsible for defining the scope for the engagement</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Enables and articulates a strong value-based message on any sales opportunities</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Leads system demonstration in sales meetings</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Prepares follow up client/TPE/carrier question responses with Sales Leaders</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Performs due diligence to scope work and provide input to strategic questions required for defining the opportunity.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Works with the Sales Leaders to request missing information from the Third Party Evaluator (TPE), client or carriers</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Reviews discovery document outlining the detailed solution</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Tailors materials and demo based on solution, client need and competitive landscape</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborates on Carrier and Product Selection</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Assists on Contract/Statement of Work creation and execution</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Skills and experience that will lead to success</strong></span></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">One year plus of employee benefits industry experience</span></li></ul><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">One year plus managing project schedules</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Experience working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as operations, product management, and the development team).</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
