Data Engineer 
  • Location: Remote with maximum of one trip per quarter to Indianapolis, Indiana.  Client will pay for travel expenses. 
  • Hours: EST hours
  • Client Domain: Financial Services
  • Duration: 6 months 
  • Interview Mode: video
  • Work Authorization: any valid US work authorization
 
Must have:
  • Snowflake- 5 YOE
  • DBT- 3 YOE
  • Data Vault - 3 YOE
  • Microsoft Data Factory- 2 YOE
Nice to have:  Financial industry experience
  • Design and implement modern cloud-based data platforms using Snowflake, dbt, and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines that support enterprise data needs.
  • Create and optimize Data Vault models, including Hubs, Links, Satellites, and Business Vault components, to enable flexible and auditable data architectures.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Data Vault 2.0 architectures and data models.
  • Deep expertise with Snowflake data warehousing, performance tuning, and data engineering best practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, documentation, and deployment.
  • Experience building data pipelines using modern cloud data platforms and ELT frameworks.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data engineering principles including data modeling, optimization, and orchestration.
