This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex data ecosystems, understands the nuances of real-time data movement, and can partner across teams to deliver resilient, scalable integration patterns. You’ll play a key role in modernizing data flows, enabling real-time analytics, and strengthening enterprise data platforms. This is a 100% remote full-time opportunity. <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Design, build, and operationalize CDC pipelines using Oracle GoldenGate to support near real-time data movement across platforms (e.g., DB2, Oracle → Snowflake, Kafka, Iceberg).</li><li>Configure and manage GoldenGate Extract, Replicat, and Trail processes across z/OS, distributed systems, and cloud environments.</li><li>Administer and support GoldenGate environments (on-prem and AWS), ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and platform stability across dev/test/prod.</li><li>Monitor CDC pipelines and proactively troubleshoot replication issues, including latency, failures, and data consistency gaps; execute restarts, backfills, and replays.</li><li>Collaborate with DBA, Data Platform, Infrastructure, and Security teams to onboard new pipelines, manage dependencies, and align with enterprise data priorities.</li><li>Support full pipeline lifecycle activities: environment setup, configuration, testing, cutover, and post-production stabilization across multiple concurrent programs.</li><li>Implement automation, observability, and CI/CD integration for CDC pipelines, including logging, monitoring (e.g., Splunk), and standardized deployment patterns using Terraform or similar tools.</li><li>Develop and maintain runbooks, standards, and patterns to scale GoldenGate adoption and reduce reliance on vendor support.</li></ul><h2>Required Experience & Skills</h2><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environments.</li><li>Deep understanding of CDC patterns, replication internals, and heterogeneous data movement.</li><li>Experience supporting GoldenGate across z/OS, distributed systems, and cloud (AWS).</li><li>Proficiency in troubleshooting replication issues, performance tuning, and ensuring data consistency.</li><li>Experience with automation, observability, and CI/CD for data pipelines.</li><li>Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple technical teams.</li><li>Excellent documentation habits and operational discipline.</li></ul><h2>Nice-to-Have Skills (Differentiators)</h2><ul><li>Experience integrating GoldenGate with Kafka or other streaming platforms; exposure to event-driven or data mesh architectures.</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise security integrations (e.g., Entra ID / OAuth, RBAC).</li><li>Experience with Python or Java for scripting or pipeline tooling.</li><li>Exposure to enterprise integration tools supporting ETL, CDC, and ESB patterns.</li></ul><h2>Who Thrives Here</h2><ul><li>Engineers who enjoy solving complex data movement challenges at enterprise scale.</li><li>Professionals who value clarity, structure, and operational excellence.</li><li>Builders who want to modernize data ecosystems and enable real-time analytics.</li><li>Team players who collaborate deeply across platform, infrastructure, and security domains.</li></ul>SPONSORSHIP NOT AVAILABLE
