Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow an established provider of architectural and specialty building products throughout the Atlanta market.

This role is ideal for a true new-business hunter who enjoys developing a territory, prospecting in the field, building relationships with contractors and design professionals, and converting opportunities into long-term accounts.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently throughout the territory, developing new business while also maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and develop new business throughout the Atlanta territory
  • Build relationships with architects, contractors, developers, distributors, and other industry professionals
  • Maintain and grow an existing account base while identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Conduct regular field visits, customer meetings, and presentations
  • Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to help prepare customer quotes
  • Work with internal teams to ensure orders, specifications, and customer requirements are accurate
  • Follow opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through close
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and project requirements
  • Track territory activity, forecasts, and sales performance
  • Stay current on market activity, competitors, and customer needs
  • Travel throughout the Atlanta territory approximately 4–5 days per week using a personal vehicle
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and managing a sales territory
  • Experience selling architectural glass, metal products, glazing systems, building products, construction materials, or closely related technical products
  • Experience working with architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, or project-based quoting
  • Strong prospecting, cold-calling, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable selling to contractors, architects, developers, distributors, or similar B2B customers
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based sales environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
