- Assist Physical Therapists in conducting physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and mobilization techniques
- Implement treatment plans and provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists
- Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any changes or concerns to Physical Therapists and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and resident progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Participate in in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Missouri
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
