The Quality Engineer will report directly to the R&D and Quality Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the customer’s requirements are met through all manufacturing processes to obtain the desired product characteristics. This position involves active participation in the Q&PC Integrated Support Team (IST) to provide process and quality control guidance and technical support for the site’s Integrated Process Teams. The role ensures that key material/product characteristics are identified and verified at the completion of each manufacturing process step, focusing on the Quality Management System to maintain standards in accordance with applicable regulations and customer specifications.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the activities of IPT Quality Engineers and Lab Technicians
- Develop and maintain quality standards for processes and products
- Oversee calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
- Lead focus teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with ISO9000 standards
- Oversee Document Control and Supplier Quality Management
- Participate in WCM projects and promote EHS initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical/Science discipline required
- Advanced degree in Quality or Ceramic Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of practical Quality department experience in manufacturing
- Proven track record in leading quality transformations and change management
