Radiology - Breast Only Position Overview Breast Imaging (On-Site Only). At this time, we are seeking local candidates only.
2-3 days per week, 2-4 weeks per month. Hours 8am-4pm.
Fellowship trained on-site radiologist coverage to support screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, along with proficiency in image-guided procedures such as biopsies, localizations, and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities Breast radiologists must be highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements, detail-oriented in reporting, and comfortable managing same-day diagnostic workups.
Strong patient-facing communication skills are essential, as results and procedures are often discussed directly with patients.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinic-based environment while collaborating closely with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams.
Screening Mammography 45-55% (about 35-40 per shift)
Diagnostics 25-35%
Procedures 15-25%
Patient encounters per shift: 40-50
Candidate Requirements Board Certification Required: Certified
Fellowship: Required
Licensed in MI
BLS Certification Required
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
