Growing together.</strong></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">The Regional Account Manager, Oncology is expected to develop and execute a territory sales plan, develop sales targets, close sales, coordinate sales efforts with strategic manufacturing partners, support the needs of the medical practice clients and participate in company sales planning, meetings and reporting as it relates to specialty medications and therapy management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving results, building relationships, customer focus, and promoting all sales and marketing programs. Job will require occasional evening events and some overnight travel.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">This is a commission eligible position and covers the Baltimore MD area.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">If you are located in Baltimore MD area, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Develop territory sales plan</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Research and identify sales targets</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Make cold calls</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Use consultative sales process, probe for customer information and barriers</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Develop creative solutions to gain profitable business</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Creates relationships with manufacturers</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Close sales</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Serve needs of medical practice accounts and solve underlying issues</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Balance field sales activities with account management duties and disciplines</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Maintain current business by providing a high level of customer service </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Manage territory T&E and customer related expenses</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Travel required throughout the Baltimore territory to meet with client accounts</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.</span></p><br><br><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">3+ years of experience in medical device, lab, pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy sales</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proven track record of sales success</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">1+ years of Oncology experience</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Autoimmune, Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology or Gastroenterology therapy sales experience</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proven relationships with Baltimore area hospitals, health systems, and independent practices</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy </span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,000 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
