About the position

The Sales Accelerator Program (SAP) is a 6-month early career development program designed for individuals interested in building a career in commercial and manufacturing sales. Participants gain hands-on experience supporting Grainger’s field sales organization, focusing on customer acquisition, account growth, and value-based selling. This is a hybrid role with anticipated start dates aligned to two cohorts: January 2027 and June 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field Account Representatives to support territory planning, customer strategy, and growth opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to expand customer relationships and drive value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as National Accounts, Sales Enablement and eCommerce.
  • Track customer activity and performance metrics using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed between December 2026 and May 2027
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to relocate within the U.S.
  • Ability to travel (15–20%)
  • Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace
  • No visa sponsorship available
