- Lead the security team to maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by coordinating patrolling activities and ensuring the team monitor the premises and personnel.
- Ensure that premises and personnel are secured by coordinating and scheduling works activities for the security officers and security guards for patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers.
- Ensuring that the security personnel are effectively Controls traffic by directing drivers.
- Completes reports by verifying recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities and interviewing witnesses.
- Maintains environment by ensuring the security guards monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Ensuring the teams always respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
- Maintain the company’s stability and reputation with professionalism and legal compliance.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following SOP and instructions, reporting system malfunctions and calling for repairs.
- Managing outsourced security guards and ensuring that they are performing their duties according to the contract requirement.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies at site.
- Conduct risk assessment and site inspections.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and safety standards.
- Provide safety training, safety induction and guidance on safety practices.
- Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with authorities to maintain safety standards, including JKKP/DOSH, Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB & etc.
- Keep abreast of new developments in safety management practices and technologies and implement best practices where applicable.
- Implement Emergency Response Plan (ERP) based on risk identifiable at site.
- Commits to quality, health, safety and environmental, facility management and energy management practices and comply with the roles and responsibilities stated in Appendix 5 of the IMS Document.
- Any other duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Position requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in any disciplines
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in safety and security
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
- Those with OSH Coordinator certificate are encouraged to apply
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
