Duties</span></p> <ul> <li>Independently manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution</li> <li>Handle breach of contract, civil fraud, and other sophisticated business disputes across multiple jurisdictions</li> <li>Lead litigation strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation</li> <li>Coordinate with clients, co-counsel, and local counsel for pro hac vice admissions when necessary</li> <li>Draft and argue substantive motions in federal court</li> <li>Maintain strong client communication and responsiveness throughout all stages of litigation</li> <li>Play a central role in case strategy and client relationship management</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Typical Day</span></p> <ul> <li>Managing active litigation matters and case strategy</li> <li>Drafting motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda</li> <li>Conducting and defending depositions</li> <li>Participating in client calls and case status meetings</li> <li>Coordinating with co-counsel and local counsel in various jurisdictions</li> <li>Preparing for hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings</li> <li>Reviewing discovery and developing litigation tactics</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Supervisory Responsibilities</span></p> <ul> <li>No direct supervisory responsibilities initially, though mentoring junior attorneys or coordinating with litigation support staff may occur as needed</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Qualifications & Experience</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Required Experience</span></p> <ul> <li>Approximately 10+ years of commercial litigation experience</li> <li>Significant federal court litigation experience, including motion practice and case management</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to independently run and manage litigation matters</li> <li>Strong experience handling complex business disputes</li> <li>Excellent legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills</li> <li>Proven professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a remote, self-directed environment</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Preferred Experience</span></p> <ul> <li>Experience with general commercial or transactional matters</li> <li>Portable book of
