<p>Description</p><p><u><strong>Position Purpose:</strong></u> Manages and administers a portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring asset quality, compliance, and strong client relationships, working closely with Commercial Loan Officers and Credit Officers.  </p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>What you’ll do</strong></u></p><ul><li>Prepare accurate and timely financial statement spreads</li><li>Underwrites commercial new loan and line renewals; analyzes financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, and industry data for C&I, CRE, and SBA loans</li><li>Assist in structuring new credit requests adhering to policy: develops appropriate loan terms, covenants, pricing</li><li>Conducts an annual evaluation of relationships within portfolio</li><li>Monitors portfolio delinquency and assists commercial lenders with calling on existing clients for payments up to 30 days past due</li><li>Responsible for monitoring, creating, and updating required financial reporting</li><li>Evaluate existing credit relationships and assign/affirm/request the appropriate risk rating based on the assessment of risk concluded through the analysis process</li><li>Coordinate approval process with Credit department and in Loan officer’s absence present to approval committee</li><li>Review and edit commitment letters ensuring accuracy between commitment letters and approval</li><li>Leads at minimum monthly (or as needed) portfolio management meetings with Lenders and lending assistants </li><li>Stay well-versed in current economic market trends to provide timely and relevant insights.</li><li>Assume additional responsibilities, as requested</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><u><strong>Where you’ll shine</strong></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to analyze personal and business financial statements and tax returns </li><li>Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial management</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>Progressive level of lending experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Attend seminars/schools required by management</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Where we shine</strong></u></p><ul><li>Offering a full suite of benefits including medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plus generous paid time off</li><li>Supporting associates and their families; we embrace the importance of caring for oneself and our families</li><li>Surrounding ourselves with smart, driven, and diverse individuals</li><li>Valuing diversity, commitment in regard to our daily duties, and the Bank as a whole</li><li>Supporting local philanthropic, cultural, and artistic initiatives and organizations that our employees value</li><li>Devoted to the communities in which we serve as we help those who form the creative backbone of our market’s future economy and business value</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Working Conditions</strong></u><u>:</u> </p><p>The individual will be required to be available after normal working hours.
