Job Description:

• Establish and execute the agency's long-term SEO vision and roadmap
• Evaluate emerging technologies, search platforms, and industry trends
• Lead the agency's strategic response to AI-powered search, large language model optimization, zero-click search, and evolving search behavior
• Develop next-generation search service offerings
• Champion experimentation, research, and continuous learning across the SEO organization
• Build frameworks for testing emerging search technologies and AI-driven optimization strategies
• Represent the agency as an industry thought leader through webinars and client education
• Identify and implement automation and AI-powered tools across technical SEO, content, reporting, research, and analysis
• Design scalable operating models, frameworks, playbooks, templates, and processes
• Serve as strategic advisor for key enterprise clients
• Lead high-impact strategy sessions and presentations
• Partner with Revenue on new business opportunities and strategic pitches
• Provide executive guidance on complex SEO initiatives and emerging search challenges
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing SEO team
• Create career development pathways and foster accountability, curiosity, collaboration, and innovation
• Establish KPIs measuring client success, operational efficiency, innovation, and agency growth
• Improve profitability through scalable delivery models and operational efficiencies
• Expand existing client relationships through innovative SEO offerings
• Contribute to agency revenue growth and long-term strategic planning

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SEO experience
• 5+ years building and leading high-performing SEO teams
• Demonstrated success developing SEO strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes
• Experience operating within an agency environment
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence clients and senior stakeholders
• Visionary thinker with a passion for innovation
• Strategic leadership and ability to translate industry change into business opportunity
