Workday Payroll Consultant – Absence, Time Tracking & Payroll

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliant time and absence management. Location: Remote Duration: 7 months Primary Responsibilities:<ul data-start="689" data-end="1340"><li data-section-id="gjys15" data-start="689" data-end="785">Lead configuration and implementation of Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules</li><li data-section-id="1s4784g" data-start="786" data-end="864">Conduct requirements-gathering workshops with business and HR stakeholders</li><li data-section-id="xshg6z" data-start="865" data-end="948">Design and configure payroll structures, absence plans, and time tracking rules</li><li data-section-id="13jx8ji" data-start="949" data-end="1049">Support full-cycle payroll processing including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution</li><li data-section-id="7ihr8n" data-start="1050" data-end="1118">Lead testing activities (SIT/UAT) and support defect remediation</li><li data-section-id="1nlosy7" data-start="1119" data-end="1181">Deliver end-user training and provide post-go-live support</li><li data-section-id="1jwren8" data-start="1182" data-end="1256">Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and organizational policies</li><li data-section-id="1euacha" data-start="1257" data-end="1340">Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integrations</li></ul>Key Skills:<ul data-start="1360" data-end="1789"><li data-section-id="1cq5969" data-start="1360" data-end="1402">Workday Payroll certification required</li><li data-section-id="1538lft" data-start="1403" data-end="1456">5+ years of Workday Payroll consulting experience</li><li data-section-id="13qh4vp" data-start="1457" data-end="1522">Strong expertise in Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules</li><li data-section-id="zdhyb9" data-start="1523" data-end="1591">Deep understanding of global payroll and compliance requirements</li><li data-section-id="1wdhklv" data-start="1592" data-end="1646">Experience with end-to-end Workday implementations</li><li data-section-id="puom86" data-start="1647" data-end="1718">Strong workshop facilitation and client-facing communication skills</li><li data-section-id="1c05c50" data-start="1719" data-end="1789">Proven ability in troubleshooting, testing, and production support</li></ul>Experience:<ul data-start="1809" data-end="1959"><li data-section-id="1sc2sgp" data-start="1809" data-end="1882">5+ years of hands-on Workday consulting experience focused on Payroll</li><li data-section-id="1pxly1l" data-start="1883" data-end="1959">Experience with large-scale HCM implementations and post-go-live support</li></ul>Education:<ul data-start="1978" data-end="2081"><li data-section-id="67h6jd" data-start="1978" data-end="2081">Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li></ul>Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
